Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with various School Bus operations and projects, including (but not limited to), routing, billing, recruiting, training, time audits, equipment audits, dispatch assistance and start-up meetings across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with School Bus managers, supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to implement process enhancements and streamline workflows.
- Engage with cross-functional departments (i.e., safety, fleet maintenance, recruiting) to understand industry challenges and align goals for success.
- Assist with preparing monthly reports for key stakeholders.
- Participate in management training sessions and workshops to develop operational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in the school transportation industry.
Position Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors' or Masters' program in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, preferably in transportation/Logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI and Synthesia AI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or coursework in business consulting, project management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with the transportation/logistics
